COVID - 19 Information Update

24th September 2020 - Please wear a face-covering whilst entering our Tearoom & attending the toilet. You will be asked to keep your face covered until you are seated. Once seated we will provide you table service to reduce the amount of movement from customers around other customers & staff. Please be patient with us, we are all faced with uncertainty and a lot of new legislation and rules. We want to provide you the best and most efficient service we can, and so things may take a little longer as we are ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers is our No.1 priority. As the law suggests, we must not allow more than a group of 6 to meet up or book a table with us. For private bookings or parties (birthday parties or weddings), the maximum is 15 people. All visitors must sign into the NHS track and trace by either the QR code (Via the NHS app) or by signing in our book. We would ask all customers to keep your distance and respect other peoples distance. Please wear a face covering any time you are not in a seat inside (this means attending the toilet or any other reason). If you do not have a face covering you will have the opportunity to purchase one from us before entering, or alternatively you will not be permitted inside until you do have one.

A note to walkers, cyclists, and dog walkers...

Please be aware our site is not to be used as a through road, it is a private site and so we must have a register of who has been here each day. We would politely ask you not to use our carpark or our Brampton Valley Way private access unless you are a customer on that same day and have registered. We are working so hard to ensure our site is maintained and sanitised. We have had to increase our cleaning regime incredibly to combat the possibility of COVID. By just parking and going for a walk or cycling through, you are  not only breaking rules but putting all of our customers and staff at risk, our very business at risk and everything we are working so hard towards.

COVOID-19 Information - Please Read                                                              17th March 2020

Our plan is to stay open safely as long as we can or until we are told otherwise by the government and health officials. We are keeping a close eye on all the information available to us and all daily updates. In light of the prime minister's decision to offer little or no support to small and growing independent businesses it has put incredible strain on our little company, we are going to continue doing our best to get through this!

We are committed to providing the best possible service under these circumstances whilst making sure the highest standard of hygiene is maintained at all times. The safety and wellbeing of our staff and our customers is imperative, so we ask any persons that are feeling unwell or have any of the symptoms connected with Covoid -19 to please stay at home and look after yourself and help contain this virus.

We politely ask anybody visiting Waterloo to please wash your hands on arrival, before ordering food and drinks. We have an extensive cleaning regime and intent on keeping it to the highest standard. We would discourage the use of cash and suggest trying a contactless method of payment.

If we are forced to close our Tearoom due to risk to health then we will do so. We will, however, try to keep going for as long as sensibly possible. As some of you may know we also have fishing lakes and a touring site which is still open and running as normal! We are out in the countryside, away from the town and crowds, so we still encourage you to get out of the house (if safe to do so) and get some fresh air! If you don’t feel comfortable then please please do stay at home indoors!

If we have to close the Tearoom we will put up notification as to how we will accept customers onto site and payment methods for tickets etc, or if any of this changes then we will update you further.

Stay safe and please look out for each other, we need community spirit now more than ever!

All our Love,

 Waterloo Farm Leisure Team xxxx
